IBSF - World 6 Reds and World Team 2016 - Saturday

Saturday has seen our players make further strides towards the next rounds.

In Group E, Martin Williams has lost both his matches so far, but the experience he'll gain can't be bought. Keith Thomas finds himself in a similar position in Group I, with Ronnie Allen  also finding Group L a tough battle. In Group O, Wayne Morgan heads the group with 2 wins from 3. Andrew Pagett finally got his campaign underway and beat his very capable opponent 4-2. John-Henry Griffiths finishes second in Group R, having only lost to the group leader. Darren Morgan was in dominant form in his second match, starting with a 6-red maximum of 75 to head the breaks table, then a 56 in the scond before sealing the match with a 70 in the fourth, restricting his opponent to just 8 points in the match, all in the third frame. Jamie Clarke has yet to lose a frame in Group AE, another 4-0 win in which he had a 51 and a 43 and restricted his opponent to a total of 13 points was the story of his day.

In the Mens Team event, Andrew and Jamie are at the top of Group G, with only their match with India 3 to go. Andrew currently holds third spot in the breaks table with an 88.

The Masters Team event has got fully underway now. Keith/Martin have not played since Friday, but John-Henry and Ronnie started their Group C campaign with a 1-4 loss. Darren and Wayne however are P2-W2 and haven't yet lost a frame.
