Clarke wins Under 19's Event 2

Jamie ClarkeJamie Clarke won his second consecutive under 19s event of the season beating international team mate Duane Jones in the final.

Duane never got going in the final and seemed to be struggling as Jamie without ever hitting anywhere near his best form just did what was necessary to run out a 3-0 winner.

Jamie had reached the final after a very close battle with the consistent Edward Topham while Duane overcame Sam Thomas 2-0. Sam had earlier put out international Tom Rees and looks to be adding a bit of consistency to his undoubted talent. He could well be in contention to win a place in the international team this season.

The plate competition was won by Matthew Humphries who defeated under 16s international Suraj Singh 2-0 in the final.
