Walker reaches World Amateur Final

Lee Walker (Newbridge) was beaten by Iran’s teenage sensation Hossein Ayouri in the final of the 2012 IBSF World Snooker Championship at Bangalore, India.

The ten hour thriller ended with Hossein potting the final black for a narrow ten frames to nine win.

Walker had earlier trailed by four frames at the interval but clawed his way back to a winning position before missing the pink for the title.
