Under 16's Championship

Callum Lloyd (Newport) finally came good to win this last ranking event on the Under 16's calendar without dropping a frame. In the final he demolished fellow Under 16 International Rhys Thomas to take the title of Welsh Under 16's Champion.

No#1 seed Travis Furnish was beaten at the quarter final stage by Barry's up and coming Ryan Rowlands. Another young player, McCauley Cole of Caerphilly has shown tremendous improvement this season. He went out in the semi final to the more experienced Rhys Thomas.

The Plate

The plate competition was won by Matthew Humphries (Llanelli) who defeated Tom Davies (Swansea) 2-1 in the final.
