Welcome letter to all players!

Welcome to the coming season of Snooker and I would like to inform you of the changes the WBSA have instigated for the immediate future :-

  1. Through the website www.welshsnooker.com you can enter tournaments and pay online through Paypal for your Membership and Tournament fees. Please note that Membership is applicable to all Tournaments excepting the Welsh Seniors and Pairs championships, if you are entering these only.
  2. However if you are not comfortable with entering online then Membership and Entry forms can be obtained from the myself, Gordon Pantall or John Terry.
  3. There are 2 new events for non-International players.
  4. The Pairs Championship will be run on the same format as the Seniors Championship, i.e. home and away basis and will be run through the Season.
  5. The Junior tournaments with regard to seedings will be run on the same format as the Masters and Seniors.
  6. There will be an Open day for Juniors at the Matchroom, Llanelli.

Due to the current economic climate, the WBSA has to adhere to a strict cost budget for the 2011-2012 season and hopefully we can financially assist the successful players in attending any forthcoming Championships. However it should be noted that in certain circumstances, due to cost players might be requested to contribute to the expense involved.

The WBSA Committee fully appreciate the support of all members and parents and trust we will receive your continued co-operation and participation for the forthcoming season.
