Welsh Over 40's Event Three

Darren Morgan won his third Masters (over 40s)event of the season when he beat John Terry in the final of Event 3.

After a dour battle against John Mills in his first match Morgan then beat Jon Breeze andIan Sargeant on his way to the final.

In the quarter final Terry lost the first two frames but fought back to beat Event 2 finalist Byron Sage and then needed the rub of the green to defeat the consistent Bob Watkins who was reaching his third consecutive semi-final of the season.
