Welsh Over 40's Event Two

Darren Morgan beat Byron Sage by three frames to one in the final of the second Masters (over 40s) event of the season at Pockets Snooker Club, Newport.

Byron Sage beat Keith Thomas, David Hooper and Ian Sargeant on his way to the final while Morgan eased past Clive Jones, John Mills and Bob Watkins without dropping aframe.

Despite losing in the semi-final, Sargeant impressed in the early rounds with several breaks of 70 plus.
