Welsh Pairs - Final line up 2012-13
Defending pair John Bevan and David Hard (Newport) are through to the final of the 2013 Welsh Pairs Competition after defeating Brecon duo Ian Morgan and Peter Moses by three frames to one in their semi-final at Merthyr Labour Club.
In the final they will meet fellow Newport Top Team players John Payne and Mark Stoneman who were comfortable winners over Bargoed pair Ian Sargeant and Gerald Brain by the same margin.
After the match Gerald, (affectionately known in snooker circles as Jesse) announced his retirement from competitive snooker.
This year's final will be held at Merthyr Labour Clubon Friday 10th May at 7pm.
