Furnish wins Welsh Under 19's event two

Cardiff's Travis Furnish won this second Under 19's event of the season. He reached the final with fine wins over junior internationals Ryan Rowlands and Tom Rees.

Rhydian ap Owen (Aberystwyth) making a welcome return to Welsh ranking events after several years reached the final showing some of his old form and promise. He included excellent 3-0 wins over junior internationals Macauley Cole and Tyler Rees in his run to the final.

In the final Travis proved just to strong on this occasion as he ran out a 3-1 winner.

With several top players not entering this season the Under 19s ranking list seems to be wide open and with two event left it looks like there will be a real battle for international places.
