Rees proves his quality winning Welsh Under 14's Event One

Tyler Rees the number1 seed showed himself worthy of top billing as he won this first under 14s event of the season. Tyler reached the final after defeating Under 14s internationals Alfie Davies and Callum Matthews.

His opponent Llewys Graham also beat under 14s internationals players to reach the final.

The final was a very close affair with the greater experience of Tyler just being enough to see him through on this occasion. However Llewys came close to gaining his first Welsh cap last year and is definitely one to watch this season.

The plate event was won by new comer Connor Canif who beat Ryan Bowgen in the final.

Many thanks to Penarth road snooker club for hosting this event. Hopefully this will be the start of a long running relationship between the W.B.S.A. and Penarth Road S.C.
