Rhydian Richards wins Welsh European Championship 2014

Rhydian Richards waited over ten years to win his first Welsh Men’s ranking event but he made it two for the season when he won the WBSA European event at Penarth Road Cardiff Snooker Club.

He beat Wales’s number one player Lee Walker by three frames to one in a hard fought final.

Richards beat rising stars Kishan Hirani and Duane Jones to get to the final while Walker was beating North Wales challenger Jack Bradford and junior international Callum Lloyd.
