Tyler Rees cemented his position at the top of the Under 16's ranking list by winning this event. Making it 2 out of 2 so far this season.

Tyler comfortably reached the final by defeating Under 14's internationals Callum Matthews and Llewys Graham in the quarter and semi finals.

Jackson Page continued his run of success this season (after winning the first two under 14s events) reaching the final after twice being 2– 0 down to Jack Martin and Suraj Singh. His win over Jack was helped slightly by a foul and a miss situation at a crucial time, but his semi final win overthe more experienced Suraj Singh was purely down to grit and determination. A never give up attitude along with some superb pots finally getting him over the line into his first Under 16's final.

Despite having to wait a long time for the final to start Tyler was in no mood to hang around any further as he hardly missed a ball in wrapping up a quick fire 3 – 0 victory which included breaks of 59 and a superb 91 clearance in the last frame.

Highest Breaks

  • Tyler Rees - 57,52, 44, 59, 91
  • Suraj Singh - 43, 47, 55, 58
  • Llewys Graham – 47, 42

Liam Davies of Tredegar (only 7 years old) competed in the tournament, and despite losing in round one certainly looks like one to watch for the future.
