Reigning champion Jamie Clarke defended his title of Welsh Under 19's Champion, although he was given a fright in round one by Barry's Sam Thomas. After narrowly getting through this match 2-1 Jamie hit form and didn't drop another frame on his way to the title, making a string of good breaks along the way.

Kishan Hirani reached his first final of the season with an excellent semi final win over Duane Jones. A superb 72 break in the deciding frame being the highlight. In the final Jamie was always in command and rapped up the match with the aid of breaks of 45 and 69.

Sam Thomas won the plate competition, beating Matthew Johns 2-0 in the final.
