Allen wins Welsh Men's Event Two - Redz, Cwmbran

Gareth Allen came through as a worthy winner after an imperious display of potting throughout the day. Rhydian Richards won an excellent match against Kishan Hirani and ran Gareth Allen close in the semi-final.

In the other half of the draw Duane Jones played steady all day and had good wins over Mike Dorey and Alex Taubman but Gareth Allen was the victor in an excellent final. The overall standard of the snooker played today was first class and provided an entertaining episode of Men’s snooker.
