September 2014 Updates

1. Proposal - Waistcoats:

Clarify the process for the issue of new or existing waistcoats when players qualify to represent Wales.

Outcome:

New players who have officially qualified to represent Wales, will be issued a new waistcoat. If a replacement waistcoat is requested and justified, then one will be issued from existing supplies, or, a new one supplied if the old waistcoat is returned in good condition.

2. Proposal - Tournament Prioritisation & Budget:

Prioritise and budget U21's, U16's, U14's, Men's and Masters for World, European and National events.

Outcome:

All player categories and events have been prioritised. Based on available funding for the season 2014/15, an agreed budget has been allocated to each event. The prioritised list is as follows:

Priority Tournament

  • 1 - World Mens 
  • 2 - World 21's 
  • 3 - Euro Mens 
  • 4 - Euro 21's 
  • 5 - World Masters 
  • 6 - World Team Mens 
  • 7 - Home Internationals
  • 8 - Euro Masters
  • 9 - Euro Team Mens
  • 10 - World Team Masters
  • 11 - Euro Team Masters
  • 12 - Celtic Challenge

Proposal - Cup or Cash:

Consider providing Men's and Masters event winners with £50 instead of a Trophy.

Outcome:

Mens and Masters event winners will receive £50 instead of a trophy. It will therefore be up to the winner whether to use the cash to purchase a trophy or not.
