Morgan wins European Masters 2012
European Team Champions Elfed Evans and Darren Morgan contested the final of the Masters European qualifying event at Pockets Snooker Club, Newport.
Evans had won the three previous ranking events but it was Morgan who came out on top this time winning by three frames to one.
Both players survived scares in their first matches. Morgan had to win the last two frames to overcome Dean Thomas and Evans did the same against Simon Morgan.
Dean Morgan and Gareth Perry reached the semi-finals with their best results of the season.
