Welsh Under 16s Event Four Results

Event Four saw an entry of 14 on the day. Some fine breakthrough performances which saw Zac Walters defeat the form player Dylan Emery 3 frames to nil. But the outstanding performance was by Rhys Morgans reaching his first Final in the Under 16 age group by beating number 3 seed Callum Matthews and Zac Walters on the way. Conor Caniff got off to a flyer in his first match making breaks of 59 & 56, but was unlucky to meet Number 1 seed Jackson Page in the next round narrowly losing by 3 frames to 2. Jackson showed his class and experience in the final defeating Rhys Morgans 3 frames to nil, but this is not the last time we will see Rhys in the final.
