EBSA 2016 - Mens Championship, Group Stages Day 2

Day 2 has almost concluded over in Wrocklaw, but all the Welsh players have finished their matches and we are pleased to report that so far they have a 100% record.

In Group C, current Welsh ranked #1 Alex Taubman won his opening match 4-1, which was the same scoreline for David John in Group F. Jak Jones won 4-0 in his opening Group S encounter and stalwart Rhydian Richards began his Group U campaign with a fine 4-0 win. Jack Bradford won his first match 4 frames to 2 on his debut as a Welsh International, which gets that first win under his belt early on and surely lifts some of the pressure from his own expectations. Jamie Clarke will finish the day either first or second in Group W, the only Welshman thus far to play 2 games and winning both, dropping just 2 frames in the process.
