Welsh Under 21s Event Five Results

Snookerworld in Ammanford was the venue for the fifth Under 21s event of the season. The first round proved to be of the highest standard with two players recording century breaks. Callum Lloyd achieving a 109 and Tyler Rees a 108.

The performance of the day was the breakthrough of the highly talented Ben Fortey who knocked out the current number one seed Rhys Thomas and didn't drop a single frame on his way to the Final.

In the bottom half, the match of day was between Callum Lloyd and Jackson Page with Jackson edging a deciding frame on the Black ball. After that there was no stopping Jackson who had a small revenge on his European Championship rival beeting Tyler Rees 3 frames to nil.

The final showed why Jackson is so highly rated as he saw off the challenge of the previously untouchable Ben Fortey by 3 frames to nil.
