Welsh Masters Event Five Results

With an entry of 26 players for Masters Event Five held at Snooker World,Ammanford, an excellent day of snooker was witnessed throughout. Darren Morgan started strongly and saw off the challenges of Jon Perring,Alan Hurley and Darryl James to reach another Final.

In the other half of the draw,Ian Sargeant was fortunate to beat Paul Doughton 3-2 in his first match,but then beat Wayne Morgan and won a close encounter with Elfed Evans 3-2 to reach the Final, after making a 92 break in the first frame.

In yet another Final between these two, Ian Sargeant maintained his form to gain victory by 3 frames to 1 frame.
