Welsh Masters Championship Results
An excellent display of match snooker was on display at Redz SC, Cwmbran on the 10th April. Many players showed their expertise on the green baize with Alan Hurley and Steve Thomas showing good form. However the top ranked players, i.e, Darren Morgan, Ian Sargeant, Elfed Evans and Gavin Lewis proceeded to the semi-finals. Darren Morgan proved too strong for Gavin Lewis and Ian Sargeant, with relentless potting, beat Elfed Evans 3-0.
The final between Morgan and Sargeant was an excellent display of match snooker which could have gone either way but Morgan proved the stronger and came out a 3-2 victor. Well played to both of you.
