IBSF World Mens and Masters Championships 2016 - Tuesday

Tuesday may have come and gone, but it was another successful day for the Welsh contingent.

In Group E of the Mens competition, Jamie Clarke topped his group with three 4-0 wins, finishing off his group matches with a classy 139 clearance. Rhydian Richards found his Egyptian opponent Mahmoud Elshourbagy to be no challenge, comfortably winning 4-0. Alex Taubman was given a little scare by Northern Ireland's Conor McCormack, going 1-2 behind before taking the match 4-2.

In the Masters competition, Darren Morgan now lies top of Group C following his 3-0 win over Jeff Szafransky of the USA, including a break of 132 in the process. Elfed Evans has still not dropped a frame and Brazilian Jânio Santos Gonçalves never looked like changing that particular statistic today.
