Welsh Open Wildcards Second Round Update

The second round has mostly been played out today and Jackson Page has pulled off another remarkable win.

Jackson was unlucky to be pipped at the post in the first frame, losing it on the black, but a decent 61 break drew him level in short order. He then pulled out a two frame cushion before his opponent managed to steady himself, taking two frames himself to tie the match and take it into the deciding frame.

The final frame was all Jackson though, a couple of decent runs of 30 and 42 taking him through to the third round and a match against Judd Trump, to be shown on Eurosport. Coverage starts at 1pm, match start time will depend on previous match.
