Results - Under 14s Event 1

There were no surprises in this first under 14s of the season. Liam Davies continued his dominance of the age group, on the back of a strong performance in the Home Internationals.

Oliver Briffitt-Payne made sure Liam didn't have it all his own way as he played some good snooker but missed a couple of important balls including a black off its spot which would have won him the frame. Liam eventually potted it to take a 2-0 lead. Oliver won the third easily and had chances to make it 2-2. However Liam then showed his composure to make a nice 45 break (to go with the 55 he made in the first frame) which took him over the line. Clearly though, Oliver is improving rapidly and we are sure he'll learn from today and be back stronger in Event 2.

Young Ryan Davies made it a family affair by winning “The Plate” competition, defeating Riley Powell 2-0.
