Under 21s Event 5

The penultimate event of the Under 21s calendar took place last Sunday down at Snooker World, Ammanford. As ever, credit where it is due, the tables were in an excellent state of preparation and allowed the players to shine.

Dylan Emery celebrated his 18th birthday in style by winning the event. Due to absences, Dylan had two walkover, meaning he went into his Semi-Final against Tyler Rees completely cold, which showed as Tyler opened up a 2-0 in rapid order. However, Dylan dug deep, took the match 3-2 and booked his place in the final.

Alfie Davies came out all guns blazing, two 3-0 wins over Ryan Bowgen and Rhys Morgans were just reward for his efforts.

The final turned out to be a comfortable win for Dylan, 3-0 a fair scoreline for the way the match played out

Dylan made the highest break of the day with 78 and Alfie made 60.
