IBSF 2019 Men and Masters - Day 5

As the first week drew to a close, it has been a tournament of mixed results for the Welsh contingent.

In the Mens, Ben Fortey has topped Group H and it seems Anthony Krysa will top Group F as he is currently top with a game in hand, only a 4-0 or 4-1 loss would prevent him topping the group. David Donovan, Matthew Roberts and Gavin Lewis are all lying 4th in their groups. With Matthew having completed his group stage, his one frame deficit all competition may yet land him a knockout round place.

Masters wise, Darren Morgan tops Group A and Steven Thomas likewise sits at the head of Group M. Alun Squire currently lies second in Group K and must be satisfied with the way things have gone so far. Wayne Morgan lies second in Group Q as well. Tony Morgan though has found Group G tough going, but we're confident that the next two matches will see an upturn in form.
