Under 14s Event 4 Results

Liam Davies continued his remarkable run of victories in Welsh junior tournaments this season by winning this event at Trecenydd S.C.

This time however he did not have it all his own way as Oliver Phillips put up a tremendous battle to take their semi final to a deciding frame. Liam finally got over the line due mainly to his greater composure in a tight final frame.

The very promising Riley Powell came through to reach the final with a 3-1 win over young William Gwinnell who showed some nice touches during the match and looks like he could be one to watch in the future.

In the final Riley got off to a good start by taking the first frame. He was well in the second frame also before Liam managed to level at 1-1.from then on Liams greater experience showed as he ran out a 3-1 winner aided by a nicely compiled 50 break in frame 3.

Harry Armstrong won the plate beating Theo Manny 2-1 in the final.
