EBSA 2022 - Days 4 and 5

The last two days have seen some wonderful perfomances from the Wlesh Under 21s players, but ultimately they have all bowed out of the competition.

Brad Ferguson reached the Last 16, with deciding frame wins over Jamie Gardner and Christian Richter, before losing to Aidan Murphy, again in the decider. Brad will no doubt be pleased with his 101 in frame 5. Olliver Briffett-Payne lost his deciding frame to the talented Florian Nüßle, with Florian needing two frame winning breaks to take the last two frame. Liam Davies fell to recent ex-pro Iulian Boiko 2-4. Rhys Morgans had a 76 break in his opening frame against Callum Beresford, but that was to be as good as it got for Rhys.

In the inaugural Under 16s, Riley powell reached the Quarter Finals after beating Scotland's Stephen Wardropper 2-0 before losing 1-2 to Leone Crowley. Liam beat Joel Connolly and Kledio KaÇi 2-0 before losing in the semi finals 1-2 to eventual winner Artemijs Žižins.

The Masters have commenced this morning, updates will follow. Darren Morgan, Stephen Thomas, Darryl James, Phil Williams and Gareth Edwards are all in action today, Darren, Darryl, Phil and Gareth have all won their opening games 3-0, Steven won his first 3-1. Darren, Darryl and Steven will play their second matches later this evening.
