HIBSF 2022 Results

The annual HIBSF event resumed on the 5th August and as ever the Welsh contingent continued to feature at the sharp end.

In the mens comp, Wales fielded 3 sides. After the end of the group stages, Wales A and B both qualified, facing each other in the semi finals. Wales B were victorious and they faced England B, who played superbly and deservedly won the competition.

The masters saw Wales A reach the knock out stages and after a particularly close final, the reds ran out champions. Congratulations to Rhydian Richards, Mark Stoneman, Gareth Edwards and Steve Thomas!

The Under 21s competition was again dominated by England, however Bradley Ferguson topped the player stats in a very strong field, some feat indeed.

The Under 16s similarly found themselves in amongst a talented pool, but acquitted themselves well under the circumstances, with Riley Powell finishing a creditable third in the player rankings.
